GLAMOUR CELEBRATES THE 2024 WOMEN OF THE YEAR IN NEW YORK CITY
Growing up, I absolutely loved fashion and art magazines; Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Vanity Fair were the most affluent and influential publications for women in terms of fashion, celebrities, sex, politics, and iconic news. That said, there have been so many evolutions in print over the decades, including the way we celebrate women. For the first time in my lifetime, I am seeing an array of women of all backgrounds grace the covers of these incredible magazines. It’s no longer about the objectification of women. It’s about celebrating the wins of other women, and I’m here for it.
This year, Glamour magazine held their 2024 Women of the Year event honoring the world’s most extraordinary women – trailblazers, rule breakers, visionaries, and champions who have defined the year. The ceremony took place at The Times Square EDITION in New York City, and thanks to Samantha Berry, the world gets to share in this truly beautiful celebration.
