Austin’s Boozy BBQ – Pig, Beer, Gin.

Oh, everyone loves a good old fashioned Boozy BBQ. The smells wafting in the air of meats and veggies fired up on the grill, the smokey beckoning of whatever magical ingredients are set ablaze to cook it up, beer filled glasses, gin-concocted libations and the chatter of a happy crowd? You can’t buy that kind of joy – ok, yes. Yes you can.
For a modest $25.00 barbecue lovers were invited to chow down on Wilbur and quench their thirst with Aviation Gin.
Some of the most unforgettable Boozy BBQ’s happen in cities that delight, like Austin. Barbecue is one of those very personal things. We all have our preferences whether we like mesquite, coal, grilled with cedar, roasted in a pit, blah blah blah. Throw in a pig roast AND beer AND gin cocktails and what you have is the cure for the “It’s too hot” woes.
Half Step owner and bartender, Chris Bostick teams up with chef and bartender, Rob Crabtree to collaborate on an incredible food and drink menu—think Caja China Pig Roast with Crispy Skin and all the fixings alongside four refreshing cocktails—making for the perfect way to spend a late-summer Saturday afternoon. Be sure you try Austin’s #EastCiderBeer.
