[dropcap letter=”M”]IAMI | Art Basel is ground zero for an insightful glimpse at the world through the eyes of those who dare see a world far more capable of truth that it may realize. This year’s Art Basel Miami had a feel of honesty, romance, captivation, engagement, beauty, horror, and movement. Acting, yet again, as the continual reminder of the fluidity that exists in today’s contemporary art.The continual influx of emotion, swarming at the surface that carefully dances with you, easing you into self reflection until you’re willing, with total abandon, to dive in.
That’s precisely what we saw over the course of three days and evenings. An overwhelming perplexity and intertwined honesty exuded through each piece showcased from all around the world. This past show really did envelop a sense of purpose and social outspokenness that left an indelible mark on everyone who attended.
