An evening devoted to exhibiting Patrón’s commitment to artisanal, handcrafted tequila-making alongside delicious food, cocktails, music and artwork. The evening was well constructed with sensory elation at every turn from wildly ornate dresses made of paper to libation stations to art lining the walls to inviting each of us to be one of the first to try the Art of Patrón Virtual Reality Experience that leverages innovative Oculus technology to transport you to the Hacienda Patrón in Mexico. The virtual reality was an excellent idea in theory but unfortunately, there were a lot of technical issues as most of the “experience” was riddled with pixelation that distracted from the overall “wow factor”.
The evening introduced us to the history of Patrón, the curious libations that can be created, the essentials of tequila making, and the inspiration that the brand awakens. I was most impressed by the giant Patrón bottle made entirely of crayons! The time it must have taken! It epitomized what the night was about.
The craftsmanship from the design of the unmistakable bottles to the details in every facet of every corner of why we were there showed the devotion Patrón has to creating something authentic and well crafted.

THE ART OF THE BOTTLE
Our beautiful and iconic Patrón bottle can be seen on display all around this evening’s event. Watch our artisans create art on Patrón barrels, browse through our art gallery, create some artwork of your own at our bottle art station, have your photo taken, and even color and name your favorite drink and add it to our artwork wall.
THE ART OF MUSIC
Throughout the night we will feature a DJ, as well as live acoustical performances by Kevin Garrett and two-time Grammy-nominated artist Luke James. In addition, please visit our iPad stations and enjoy video documentaries from the “Mastering the Craft” series in collaboration with Rolling Stone. The documentaries, which are live on RollingStone.com, feature such talents as Willie Nelson, Gary Clark Jr., Diplo, Tegan & Sarah, and the Black Keys.

Be sure to meet Kris Yenbamroong from Night + Market and enjoy Nam Khao Tod, a Crispy Rice Salad with raw ginger, red onions, peanuts, cilantro, and chilies. This incredible dish is even tastier paired with a Patrón XO Cafe Incendio cocktail created by bartender Damian Windsor.
